In 2000 City Bistro opened its doors and arms to the Hoboken public. John Avoletta and Ken Duda’s vision was simple; provide excellent service, coupled with exquisite food, in this casually elegant environment. From their famous pizzas to a carefully crafted menu which moves across all gambits, City Bistro has become a Hoboken standard for service, food quality, and a bar seen unparalleled but often imitated. The first floor is a bustling pub, with a bar lined wall lit by candles and surrounded by hand picked wines from across the world. Sit back and enjoy the action, catch the game on one of our six big screen plasma TV’s, or simply lose yourself in the energetic atmosphere created by the people around you. Travel upstairs to our dining room for a more intimate atmosphere. Music from artists like Billie Holiday to some of today’s contemporary artists set the mood for your evening ahead.
